Sara O’Connor
Ytsera Air, CFI
Sara is a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument and holds a commercial pilot certificate for multi-engine and single-engine airplanes. She also holds a commercial seaplane license. Sara is an adjunct faculty member at Vermont State University in Williston, Vermont, and teaches in the Professional Pilot Technology program. She is a co-founding member of Women in Aviation International – Vermont Chapter and has taught over 12 Private Pilot Ground School sessions since 2023. She has volunteered almost 300 hours for aviation education outreach and participates in Pilots N Paws, which transports rescue animals to their new homes. She has flown to over 65 airports, piloted more than 16 different aircraft types, and is currently working on her Airline Transport License (ATP). She works with 3 other instructors at Caledonia County Airport and trains students for their Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, and CFI-I single-engine licenses.Ìý
